Science Museum Oklahoma displays its F-1 engine in a central, open area.
There's a full balcony/walkway around 3 of the sides, and a small amount of the
fourth side (although there are some obstructions on one of the "short" sides),
affording the opportunity to photograph the top of the engine (as it sits on
its dolly) as well as the more customary ground-level shots.
According to an ID tag, this is "Engine
Assy. (Test Only) Serial No. I07-I". For whatever reason, the digit "1" has
been replaced with the capital letter "I"; this is actually F-1 engine F-107-1.
Otherwise unremarkable, the engine is displayed without its injector, offering
a view of the aft-facing side of the LOX
dome.
During my 2008 trip, we visited the museum over the course of two days; the
first day, as I was shooting the F-1 a television film crew began setting up
near the forward end of the engine (so you may see some oddities in some of
those pictures).
