Cutaway Mark 23 Torpedo Afterbody

The museum displays a cutaway Mark 23 torpedo afterbody in the waiting area for the USS Cobia tours. The afterbody is one of three parts of the Mark 23, behind the warhead and air flask sections.

The Mark 23 is a modified version of the Mark 14 torpedo.
