The museum has the an XB-47 (46-0066, although there seems that an extra "0"
was added at some point, as it's more commonly known as 6066), the second
X-47-type aircraft constructed and the oldest surviving such aircraft.
While pictures of the XB-47 6065 are fairly common, I've been able to track
down only a single vintage
6066 photo, in the San Diego Air and Space Museum's archive.
YouTube has a
video regarding Chanute's XB-47, including some video of the
mostly-stripped interior of the aircraft.
The B-47 Stratojet Association has an
extensive Website, with photos, information on B-47 versions, stories from B-47
crewmen, and much more.
