View of the spacecraft's main display/control panel.

Picture 2 of 3.

A previous member of the exhibits department added the 1980s-era LEDs.

The model's L/V Engines subpanel (located toward the left, between the FDAI and DSKY) shows that this model reflects being launched on a Saturn IB. Although only Apollo 7 was launched on a Saturn IB in the Apollo program proper (of course, the manned Skylab missions and ASTP were also launched on Saturn IBs), as late as February 1965, there were at least three planned Saturn IB, Block II command module missions (AS-207, AS-209, and AS-211; the latter mission would involve docking with a lunar module also launched on a Saturn IB); see page 18 of my AS-207 Vehicle Systems Information Drawings.
