Note the fuel additive blender unit (FABU), inside its red heater assembly. The H-1 used RP-1, the engine's fuel, mixed with an additive (Oronite) from the FABU to lubricate the turbopumps and gearbox.

Also note that this engine lacks a heat exchanger.
