Gemini Mockup

One of the centerpiece items in the Prologue Room is a Gemini "engineering development fixture." A high-fidelity mockup, it was used by engineers to verify equipment relationships and system integration and to develop check-out, launch, and operational procedures.

None of the flown Gemini spacecraft are displayed with adapter sections; neither are unflown Gemini/MOL spacecraft at the Air Force Museum or Gemini 3A spacecraft at the St. Louis Science Center. To the best of my knowledge, this is the highest-fidelity adapter section which remains.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures of the Gemini mockup, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced.
