ASTP

The Smithsonian displays a mockup of the two joined spacecraft from the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.

The actual, flown ASTP command module was displayed at Kennedy Space Center's Apollo/Saturn V Center for a number of years; it was moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2005.

The docking module joining the Apollo and Soyuz spacecraft is the flight's backup DM. I have additional information on the docking module on my docking module mockup page at Stafford Air & Space.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project display, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced. Come back some time later to see if I've finished up, or drop me an email to request me to prioritize the rest of these pictures.
