Delta

Goddard Space Flight Center displays a Delta (sometimes called a Thor-Able) in its Rocket Garden. Google Maps link.

The early Deltas consisted of a Thor missile as its first stage with an Able upper stage (the Able upper stage was a modified second stage from the Vanguard rocket, which attempted but failed to launch the first American satellite). The Delta family, much evolved, is still launching payloads today.
