One of the signs accompanying the lunar module. It reads

Grumman Lunar Module LM-13

Bethpage, 1972

Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin were the first men to walk on the Moon. It was July 20, 1969, and Grumman Lunar Module LM-5 Eagle got them there. The LM is the first true spacecraft. It operated only the vacuum of space so it needed no aerodynamic qualities. This Lunar Module LM-13 was intended for the Apollo 19 mission that was cancelled.
