Apollo Lunar Extra Vehicular Activity Spacesuit, 1969

The Apollo astronauts used this Lunar spacesuit during training. It weighs 183 pounds on Earth and 31 pounds on the Moon. Nomex and Kevlar fabric insulate and protect the astronaut from micrometeoroids. The backpack holds a life support system.
