During our June, 2005 visit, I found that the Skylab 1G trainer components had been shrink-wrapped to help protect them from the elements.

Picture 1 of 2.

Note that the Titan II had been moved to the boneyard. It had previously been exhibited between the Saturn V and Skylab mockup in the Rocket Park, but was presumably moved here to make room for the Saturn V restoration which began in June (or perhaps May) 2005.

Unfortunately, the shrink wrap didn't last long.
