The desiccant opening at the 8:00 position. Note the strap just right of center at top of this photo to which the cover for this opening was once attached.

Each of the white bags is a "Desiccite 25" pack manufactured by Filtrol Corporation of Los Angeles, Calif., U.S.A, conforms to Military Spec. MIL-D-3464, has an activation temperature range of 245-275°, is apparently equivalent to 8 "units", and (as with all modern desiccant product) is NOT EDIBLE.

Although only two bags are visible here on the outside, the desiccant cage appears to be large enough for at least four bags.
