Apollo Boilerplate BP-1207

Apollo boilerplate BP-1207 was formerly located at the Discovery Science and Outdoor Center in Ocala Florida, just off the road between Kennedy Space Center and the Museum of Naval Aviation.

The Field Guide lists this as Apollo boilerplate BP-1207. No other information is available.

The Discovery Center and boilerplate were located in the city's Brick City Park (Google Maps link) when I visited in 2005, but moved in 2009 to a new location in Tuscawilla Park (Google Maps link).

I did not discover that the boilerplate moved until January 2012. When I contacted the center, they told me that they were looking for a new home for the boilerplate. The New Mexico Museum of Space History announced on Feb. 28, 2013 that they had been chosen as the boilerplate's new home, and the boilerplate was delivered on March 1, 2013.
