SA-7 Camera Capsule Gallery

A panel from the exhibit's signage. It reads

SA-7 Camera Capsule

Each Saturn camera was housed in a protective capsule as shown above. The capsule also contained reentry and recovery equipment, including a "paraballoon" that slowed the camera's descent and kept it afloat after splashdown. The capsule on display kept the SA-7 camera and its film safe during its time at sea.
