Detail of the "2009" stencil on the combustion chamber of the lower right F-1 engine. Rocketdyne stencilled the thrust chambers with the internal Rocketdyne F-1 engine serial number, which generally differed from the NASA F-1 engine serial number. However, in this case, the "2009" does indicate F-1 engine F-2009.

Also note the two ID plates to the right of the stencil.

Other engine components visible are, at upper left, the gas generator and, at lower center, the bearing coolant control valve.
