A cut-away view of an alcohol inlet. Fuel, delivered from the turbopump, enters the area between the two walls comprising the thrust chamber at six such alcohol inlets. The fuel flows forward, providing regenerative cooling, reaching the burner cups at the forward end of the thrust chamber, where it is mixed with liquid oxygen and burned. Also note the row of film cooling holes on the interior wall of the thrust chamber. | ||||
