Irwin's Apollo 15 Suit

The museum displays Jim Irwin's Apollo 15 A7LB space suit. Irwin was the lunar module pilot, so his suit had no red stripes (the commander's suit had red stripes so that the astronauts could easily be identified in photos and television footage).

The Apollo 15 commander was David Scott, and the Smithsonian displays Scott's Apollo 15 suit at the National Air & Space Museum.
