Scott's Apollo 15 Suit

The museum displays David Scott's Apollo 15 A7LB spacesuit. Scott was the mission commander, so his suit had red stripes (so that the astronauts could easily be identified in photos and television footage).

The Apollo 15 Lunar Module pilot was Jim Irwin, and the Smithsonian displays Irwin's Apollo 15 suit at the Udvar-Hazy Center.
