Second of two views of one of the fold lines. This one is of the closure while it is folded. Note the effects of weathering and sunlight on the color of the closure.

The outer ring of the closure is a rigid plastic, while the center is a flexible, faux-leather type material.

Note the reinforcing doubler on the periphery. We see here that the doubler on the clockwise side of the fold line is labelled "007"; the one on the other side of the line is "005".
