A Lunar Module hand controller armrest.

The sign reads

Hand controller armrest removed by Tom Stafford from the Apollo 10 Lunar Module "Snoopy" prior to the spacecraft being jettisoned.

Each crew position had two of these armrests. They were stowed vertically but could rotate down to provide stability for operation of the thrust/translation controller assembly and the attitude controller assembly and to restrain the astronaut laterally.
