Lunar Test Article 8 (LTA-8) Gallery


Detail of the SLA-LM interface (the "knee" of the lunar module's leg). The LM is attached the SLA only by the attach point on each of the landing gear. Like LM-9 at Kennedy Space Center, the lunar module is suspended from the ceiling by these attach points.
