The suit's neck ring.

The helmet would attach to the suit at this point. The suit's neck dam would be stored just below the helmet attach point.

Note the two ends of the metal cable; this cable attached to the helmet tie-down strap, which would prevent the helmet from rising and obscuring the astronaut's view when the suit was pressurized.
