Note the two electrical wiring bundles attached to the spacecraft at the top of this photo. The left-hand bundle goes to the capsule to adapter separation sensor near the top of the strap. The right-hand bundle supplied electrical power to the retro package, including power for the retro- and posigrade rocket igniters and the explosive bolt for strap jettison.
