F-1 Engine Gallery


Detail of the upper portion of the engine.

Note the drain line coming from the left side of the photo.

One of the lifting lugs can be seen on the on the nozzle extension.

F-1001 is an early production engine, one delivered without any thermal insulation. Thus, the side of the thrust chamber has no tabs and studs to support the insulation.
