Mercury Suit

The museum displayed a well-worn Project Mercury spacesuit. Much of the silver, aluminized finish had worn off.

Although the Air Zoo inherited many of the displays and artifacts from the Michigan Space and Science Center after the latter closed, the a Mercury suit displayed by the Air Zoo appears to be a different suit.
