Mercury Space Suit (East Campus)

When the East Campus building housed the majority of the space artifacts, the lobby had a Project Mercury suit. Although the Air Zoo inherited a large number of artifacts from the Michigan Space & Science Center when the latter closed, this appears to be a different suit than the MSSC displayed before it closed.

A U.S. Navy Mark IV pressure suit, on which the Mercury suit was based, was displayed right next to the Mercury suit.
