Apollo Developmental Ring Sail Parachute
The museum displays Apollo 9 with a fully-deployed parachute. LCDR Scott "Spaceaholic" Schneeweis notes that this is not an Apollo flight-type parachute, but rather an earlier, developmental prototype and provides a link with additional information about this specific parachute. Apollo 16 at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and CM-002 at the Cradle of Aviation are both displayed with main chutes, but those parachutes are displayed gathered up or draped over the command module. This is the only place I've seen a chute displayed like this.
