This H-1 is missing its turbine exhaust hood, allowing inspection of its heat exchanger.

There are four coils of tubes inside the heat exchanger which convert liquid oxygen (LOX) to gaseous oxygen (GOX) to pressurize the LOX tanks. The cylinder with conical nose section at center is the coil displacement support assembly.
