View of the rows of shingles comprising the inner wall of the nozzle extension. Picture 6 of 7. This is a somewhat unusual view, as it is taken from forward looking aft. Most people are more familiar with the view from the perspective of aft looking forward. The yellow rectangle is a nozzle exit strut pad. The side of the strut pad which engages with the nozzle extension is covered with a rubber pad, to hold the nozzle extension to the handling fixture without putting undue stress on the walls of the nozzle extension. The rubber pad does, however, sometimes leave a mark on the interior of the nozzle extension. | ||||
