View of the rows of shingles comprising the inner wall of the nozzle extension. Picture 1 of 7. This is a somewhat unusual view, as it is taken from forward looking aft. Most people are more familiar with the view from the perspective of aft looking forward. The yellow rectangles are nozzle exit strut pads. The side of the strut pad which engages with the nozzle extension is covered with rubber pad, to hold the nozzle extension on the handling fixture without putting undue stress on the walls of the nozzle extension. The rubber pads do, however, sometimes leave marks on the interior of the nozzle extension. | ||||
