Saturn IB

Dominating the Rocket Garden (Google Maps link) is a Saturn IB, SA-209. This booster, designated as the booster for a Skylab rescue mission should it prove necessary and later as a backup booster for the ASTP mission, it was never used for its intended purpose and today is one of two remaining Saturn IBs.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures of the Saturn IB, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced.
