LC-39 Observation Gantry

Located near the fork in the crawlerway between the LC-39A and LC-39B launch pads is an observation gantry. A stop on the free bus tour, it's the closest a visitor can get to the pads without taking an additional-fee tour.

One of the buildings at the bus stop has a large-scale model of a Shuttle pad. The gantry itself has a Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME) suspended between floors.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures from Kennedy, but some other page references this location.
