Crawler-Transporter Treads

The Apollo-Saturn V Center displays a pair of crawler-transporter treads (also variously described as "shoes" or "cleats"). Oddly, the two outer edges of the treads have the linking pin inserted, but the pin between the two treads is not present.

Each crawler-transporter has four trucks, which each have two belts or tracks, which in turn each have 57 treads, shoes, or cleats, for a total of 456 treads on each crawler-transporter.
