The silver metal fitting is the suit's urine transfer connector (UTC), a quick-disconnect used to drain urine from the urine collection transfer assembly (aka "UCTA", which is a bladder worn inside the suit) to the LM or CM waste management system. This allows dumping urine without depressurizing the suit (e.g., should there be some sort of emergency).
