View of the left glove's wrist ring and pressure relief valve. Note the metal band and dark grey fastener which keeps the the outer, white integrated thermal micrometeoroid garmet (ITMG) mounted to the inner pressure garment assembly (PGA).

The pressure relief valve was mounted on the left wrist of the suit's PGA and opened and closed between 4.8 and 5.5 psid to protect the PGA from overpressurization in the event of a failed-open primary oxygen pressure regulator in the PLSS.
