Frontiers of Flight

The Frontiers of Flight Museum is located on Love Field in Dallas, and is home to Apollo 7 and a nice collection of related Apollo artifacts.

Apollo 7 was formerly located in Ottawa, Canada. Walt Cunningham, Apollo 7 astronaut, spearheaded the effort to move it to Dallas. The command module was moved from Canada to Texas in May 2004. Coincidentally, Apollo 9 was moved from Michigan to San Diego later that month, and due to the close timeframe, the two command modules were moved using the same shipping crate.
