Smithsonian Turbopump

The Smithsonian was allocated the remains of a turbopump. While the turbopump lacks its housing, it does include the LOX inducer and impeller and both turbine wheels. The fuel inducer is no longer present, and the fuel impeller seems to have sustained heavy damage.

I previously photographed this turbopump while it was undergoing conservation.

This is Smithsonian inventory number A20160021000.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures of the turbopump, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced. Come back some time later to see if I've finished up, or drop me an email to request me to prioritize the rest of these pictures.
