The Transportation Security Administration regulations state that the public may not freely wander about the airport grounds, so the airport staff put up the orange barricade (they normally put bags of oil dry on the stands, but since it was rainy and wet and the oil dry comes in paper bags, it was more of a "warning track").

However, civilians may be escorted by airport personnel, and one such fellow was good enough to escort me while I got some long shots of the plane.
