View of the aft end of the heat exchanger, showing the LOX inlet manifold assembly.

Liquid oxygen enters the heat exchanger through this assembly and is run through the coils inside, where the LOX is warmed to create gaseous oxygen (GOX) by the hot turbine exhaust. The GOX is then routed to the LOX containers to provide pressurization.
