LR-91 Thrust Chamber

The Air Zoo had in storage an LR-91 thrust chamber. The LR-91 was used in the second stage of the Titan I and Titan II missiles. There were a number of LR-91 variants; this particular one bears some strong resemblances to the YLR-91 engines at Stafford Air & Space. The thrust chamber is displayed without any turbomachinery or a bolt-on nozzle extension.

I have a page describing an early LR-91 engine.

It seems likely that this thrust chamber was inherited from the old Michigan Space & Science Center, although I don't recall seeing it on display when I visited the MSSC.
