Air Power Park

Air Power park is located in Hampton VA, between Langley Research Center and the Virginia Air & Space Center.

There is a central building, although it was closed for renovation when we visited the summer of 2007. However, there are a good many artifacts in the surrounding yard, as can be seen in the aerial view.

The city of Hampton once had a PDF-format brochure which included a map of the grounds, the city appears to have removed that from their Website and the brochure did not make it into archive.org's WayBack Machine. The city does, however, still have an Air Power Park page on their Website.

As of now, I have not yet sorted through all of my pictures from Air Power Park, but some other page references this location. Thus, this is a "place holder" version right now, with only the pictures actually referenced. Come back some time later to see if I've finished up, or drop me an email to request me to prioritize the artifacts at this location.
