F-100

I don't know much at all about the F-100 Super Sabre, but I have read a bit about it in various astronaut biographies. Interested readers can refer to this web site dedicated to the F-100.

The tail number, "42145" (short for "54-2145"), would make this an "F-100D-5-NA". A bit about this F-100's history.

The park has gone under renovation since my most recent visit, with this aircraft being placed on a concrete mount.
