A cutaway view of an alcohol inlet stem. Fuel, delivered from the turbopump, enters the area between the two walls comprising the thrust chamber at six of these alcohol inlets. The fuel flows forward, providing regenerative cooling, through the main fuel valve, and to the burner cups at the forward end of the thrust chamber, where it is mixed with atomized oxygen and burned. | ||||
