Note the latch locking interfaces to which the latches on the forward tunnel hatch attach at approximately the 10:00, 12:00, and 2:00 positions. In the upper right, between and below the hatch latch fixtures, is a handhold to assist the astronaut in maneuvering between the Command and Lunar Modules.
