Note the latch locking interfaces to which the latches on the forward tunnel hatch attach at approximately the 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00 positions. At approximately the 12:00 and 2:00 positions, between and below the hatch latch fixtures, are handholds to assist the astronaut in maneuvering between the Command and Lunar Modules.
