View of the umbilical on the S-IVB's forward skirt. As the dynamic test article, it had a flight-like forward umbilical and hydrogen vent panel, but no fittings or connectors other than the hydrogen tank vent line.

This photo was taken after to the Saturn V's restoration. Note that the screen used to protect against wildlife and other contamination across the hydrogen tank vent has become damaged and crumpled.

I first noticed that this had happened to the screen after the stage had been installed in the Davidson Center, and I initially thought that there was some sort of protective plastic wrap stuffed in the vent which hadn't been removed after the restoration.
