Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME) (Old Museum)

For a short time, the USSRC displayed a Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME) horizontally on a dolly. I am uncertain as to whether this is the same engine as was once displayed outdoors. It was displayed as late as 2002 without a grate on its exit plane (which appeared sometime in or before 2005); it was displayed indoors without a grate (and I didn't photograph it in a vertical orientation until 2012).

Since I already had photos of it outdoors, I didn't spend much time photographing the engine in Space Hall, although I did take some photos of its interior and injector (since the last time I saw an SSME it had a grate on its exit plane).
