The round portion at left is the inlet manifold, which distributes the hot gases from the gas generator to the turbine wheels.

To the right of the inlet manifold is the first-stage nozzle which directs the gases to the first-stage turbine wheel. To the right of the first-stage wheel is the second-stage nozzle, which increases the velocity of the gases and directs them to the second-stage wheel.
