Four of these locks, arranged around the periphery of the gimbal bearing, immoblized the gimbal bearing during shipment, handling, and storage of the engine.

This gimbal bearing lock is located just counter-clockwise of the 9:00 position on the gimbal bearing.

Although the ID plate is too curved to read any single plate, by piecing together the visible text on multiple gimbal bearing locks, the ID plate appears to read
