The two S-II forward skirts stacked on top of each other, and the recovered first stage of Gemini-Titan 5. Picture 2 of 2. The S-II forward skirt, of course, was strictly cylindrical and did not have the conical portion at its top. It's possible that it includes part of an S-IVB interstage rests on top, or that it's just fabricated for display purposes. Note that the bottom forward skirt has had fixtures added to its upper periphery to help hold the top forward skirt in place. | ||||
